In the Quba–Caspian coastal area, we successfully completed 2D seismic exploration surveys aimed at the preliminary assessment of the region’s hydrocarbon potential. The project was designed to provide a regional understanding of subsurface geology using conventional 2D cable-based seismic acquisition methods along extended profiles.

Operational planning accounted for varying geological and topographic conditions across the survey area. Throughout the project, comprehensive quality control procedures were implemented, and strict health, safety, and environmental standards were maintained.

The acquired 2D seismic data enabled identification of key structural features, stratigraphic continuity, and prospective zones. The project results provided a solid foundation for further detailed studies, including future 3D seismic surveys and advanced geological modeling.
